Cursor White In Google Docs? (Or Invisible?)

This is typically not a problem with Google Docs itself.

But rather an issue originating from Windows.

First go to Start, and search for Mouse Settings“.

Inside Mouse Settings, scroll down and click on Additional mouse settings“.

Uncheck Hide pointer while typing“.

Then go to the Pointers tab.

Under theText select pointer, click the Browse button.

Cursor Disappears Over Text In Google Chrome

Sometimes the issue can be from the Chrome Browser it self. Let’s try some fixes:

Type: chrome://settings/system (in the address bar).

Try turning offUse graphics acceleration when available“.

Then relaunch to see if the issue has been resolved.

End Process In Task Manager

As a last resort to the “Cursor White in Google Docs” issue, try ending Google Chrome from the task manager.

To do this press: Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

Look for “Chrome“, right click, and end task“.
