How To Setup Email Forwarding

Go to mail.google.com.

Keep that tab and open a new incognito window.

Go to Gmail, and create a new account.

This time use the correct or preferred details and proceed with the normal sign up process.

Once you complete that go back to the tab where we have the awkward email. Follow these steps:

Step 01: Go To Settings

Click on “Settings” > “All Settings“.

Step 02: Add A Forwarding Address

Under the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab click on “Add a forwarding address“.

Add in the new email address.

On the next screen, just click on “Proceed“.

Google will send a confirmation code to the new email.

Clock on the “OK“ button to exit out of the popup.

Step 03: Confirm The Forwarding Email Address

Now go to the new email and click on the confirmation link sent by Google.

This will take you to a new tab where you will click on “Confirm“.

It will say “Confirmation Success!”

Step 04: Configure Forwarding Settings

Go back to the tab where you have the old email.

Set the email from “Disable forwarding” to “Forward a copy of incoming mail to newemail@gmail.com“.
